No Worries In the World.

Jumping into a nice cold pool on a hot summer day...

Throwing coins to the bottom of the clear blue pool and diving for them and swimming back up to the surface to see which one of us ended up getting the most. Then running over to the lemonade stand and buying an ice cold glass with the coins we just dove for.
Playing tag, swinging on the swings, going round and round on the tireswing, biking and scootering around the neighborhood feeling that rush of excitement through your whole body hearing the ice cream mans' magical song getting closer and closer.

Laying on the trampoline at night looking up at the deep blue sky with the bright silver twinkling stars while hearing the crickets chirp and fire pit sparks go 'POP.' Wishing the day was not over yet but still looking forward to tomorrow because you know it will be another great day no matter what you would do. Those were the days... being little means there are no worries in the world. If only time paused and we could stay little forever.

Native Americans

Something that I do know about Native Americans is a little bit about their tribes. They have so many tribes it is amazing to think about. They have tribes that are separated by ethnic groups, where they live, similar characteristics and usually by the same language and religion. But almost every tribe believed that nature was sacred. For their living conditions, many of the tribes either lived in tipi's or huts. From what I have read before, I do remember learning that the Native American women were in charge of cleaning their home and the men were in charge of hunting for food and are used for protection.
The clothing Native Americans wear has always amazed me on how beautiful it all is and how artistic they are to make things that look that great.
Beading and Feathered Headdresses are very common from what I have learned and seen in movies. They are very resourceful when it comes to animals. They use almost every bit of it for clothing and food.
Not only is their clothing amazing because of their creativity, but their art work is beautiful also. Especially when it comes to totem poles. They're so colorful and really interesting to look at because each one is different and unique. They each tell a different story or event.
I want to learn more on Native Americans because there is so much information on them that I don't know about.

"What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset." - Crowfoot, Blackfoot warrior and orator

Open Minded...

Detail, detail, detail is what you need to have a good writing piece. But I noticed that I need more of it! I have great detail when it comes to a topic that i feel very strongly about the topic but I need to include lost of detail in everything that I write to keep it moving and entertaining. Not only does detail keep the writing interesting, but it can create an image in your head at the same time you are reading which may help the piece make more sense.
When my brain get trapped and I cannot think of what else to add onto my writing I try to have an open mind on just about anything until something in my head pops up. Keeping an open mind a lot of the time actually helps me become more creative with my writing.
Adding more characterization in my writing to describe myself or the person I am writing about more clearly will also help improve my writing in a positive way.

When you know exactly what you're going to write about that is one of the best feelings ever because you can just write on and on and on for a long time and feel great about your writing but when you get that writers block... not such a fun feeling. Sometimes a quiet room is all I need but then again, listening to music is an amazing tool that i use for writers block too! I have really learned recently when I have an open mind and I'm listening to my music, some lyrics can really put an idea into my head. Plugging my head phones in actually really helps me with blocking out distractions. I can't hear anybody else moving or talking around me and my headphones help me keep my thoughts right inside my head and stay there.

My writing in class and my writing at home is very different. In class I can't help but looking at every single person that gets up, walks out the room, throws something away. I just cannot concentrate! I have to be in my own little bubble by myself with my music to get the writing that I want. With music, a quiet room and an open mind I am a happy camper and so is my writing because that is when it becomes entertaining!
